Maruti Suzuki Targets Export Growth as Japan Becomes Key Market
Maruti Suzuki plans to increase exports in FY27 despite challenges in the Middle East. Japan has now become its third-largest export market, while the company accounts for nearly half of India's passenger vehicle exports. Maruti exported a record 447,774 vehicles in FY26 across nearly 120 countries. The company also plans to increase rail-based vehicle dispatches from 26.5% to 28% in FY27. Maruti expects growing exports, e Vitara shipments, and better logistics to strengthen its global presence.
